NOTE: In order to provide readers of my Blog with the most clothing options to choose from, I try out more styles than I’m personally able to buy and keep. I do my best to note which items I have personally bought. Please be aware that items with a “Buy” rating may not be ones I personally own. The “Buy” rating indicates that the clothing item passes my standards for garment fit. Additionally, there are “affiliate links” (i.e. a link with a special tracking code) in this blog post. If you purchase something via “affiliate links” on my blog, I may earn commission.

One thing that’s more important to me now is finding swimsuits that will last me multiple seasons. It’s the worst when you find a bathing suit you love, but it wears out quickly! That’s why I’ve been focused on trying out higher quality and timeless style options. Also I’ve been wanting to find more sustainable brands! That’s why I decided to try out Jade Swim.

Here’s a few a ways that Jade Swim strives to be sustainable: According to their website, Jade Swim primarily uses ECONYL to create the most styles in their collection. This material is made 100% of regenerated nylon. Regenerated nylon can be made from plastic bottles, fishing nets and fabric scraps. (For reference, traditional nylon is made from petroleum.) Additionally, the fabrics they use are Oeko-Tex certified and Azo tested. That means are evaluated to ensure that no hazardous chemicals are used to dye the fabric. Lastly, they embrace slow fashion by creating minimalist designs that will be in style season after season.

Jade Swim Yara Ruched Strapless Swimsuit – Size Medium

What I loved…

  • Color – I love the sheen and color of this swimsuit because it makes you feel super glamorous!

What could have been better…

  • Potential to slide down – This swimsuit didn’t feel as secure around my bust area as I’d like. I was worried that if I made any sudden movement, the suit might slide off my chest. The suit didn’t have non-slip material on the inside top edge. I was so bummed because I really loved this suit!

  • Cheeky – While I don’t normally go for cheeky style swimsuits because they tend to ride up on me, this one seemed to stay in place. Also I’m working on branching out from full coverage suits and embracing cheeky styles this season!

Verdict: Don’t buy!

Jade Swim Evolve One Shoulder Swimsuit – Size Medium

What I loved….

  • Silhouette – I love the one shoulder design of this bathing suit! So chic! Also this one felt much more secure than the Yara one piece.

What could have been better…

  • Slightly big in back – There was some gaping on the back side of the suit where the cut out was for the one shoulder design. While the suit looked great on the front, the back side was a deal breaker for me.

Verdict: Don’t buy!

Jade Swim Ava Gathered Bandeau Bikini Top – Size Small

What I loved…

  • Sheen – This gorgeous teal color has a shimmer to it!

  • Fit – Overall, the top fit me quite well and felt secure! Compared to the other two suits I tried this bikini set was my favorite!

Verdict: Buy!

Jade Swim Incline High-Rise Bikini Brief – Size Medium

What I loved…

  • High cut leg – You guys already know that I love high rise bikini bottoms, but I haven’t tried out many that have a high cut leg area too! While it felt a little out of my comfort zone, it also made me feel elegant and chic!

What could have been better…

  • Cheeky – As I mentioned with the Yara one piece, this style is a bit cheekier than what I normally go for. However, I’m learning to embrace cheeky styles and be more confident!

Verdict: Buy!
