V-neckline – As a pear shaped lady, my upper body is proportionately smaller than my hips. I’m a fan of v-necklines because they accentuate what little I do have up top. Also I find that they elongate my body.
Belted waistband – I love that this jumpsuit is belted because it emphasizes my waist, which is the narrowest part of my pear-shaped body. This feature plays up my pear shape. Also since this jumpsuit is less fitted in the waist,
Wide-leg – Usually I shy away from wide leg pants since I’m never sure how they will look on me. Generally, my concern is that wide leg pants will look heavy on me because I’m short and curvier on the bottom. However, I was pleasantly surprised how fun and curve-friendly this silhouette is.

This jumpsuit has my name written all over it because it combines so many design elements (e.g. neck) I typically love for my body type. I decided to style this jumpsuit two different ways in order to show how versatile it is. Honestly, you can wear it on the weekend with sneakers or dress it up for an event like I did last Thursday.
